Walsh is working to fix the country

After reading several negative articles about Congressman Joe Walsh, I would like to tell the people about a wonderful award Congressman Joe received on July 20. The Northern Illinois Patriots honored the congressman as the first recipient of the Patriot of the Year Award.

The award will be given annually to those individuals who have shown remarkable dedication and committed service in preserving and promoting conservative values. I have witnessed his dedication to this cause by his declining of a pension, health care and by front-running a bill demanding that congressmen are not paid if they don’t pass a balanced budget. He has co-sponsored a health care bill that gives patients, not the government, more say in health care decisions. He is pro-small business and has introduced the Small Business Protection Act to grow our country from the ground up.

I would strongly encourage anyone who wishes to understand Joe’s position to attend one of the many town hall meetings he sponsors to address the issues and plight of the American public.

Thanks, Congressman, for your dedication and great work!
