Barbra Streisand sets Chicago concert date

Multi-award-winning star Barbra Streisand is coming back to Chicago for a concert date at the United Center on Friday, Oct. 26.

The Chicago show is part of a new tour that launches with two concerts titled "Back to Brooklyn" that will open at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 11 and 13. Other cities on the tour include Philadelphia (Oct. 8), Montreal (Oct. 17), Ottawa (Oct. 20) and Toronto (Oct. 23). Streisand's concerts may also feature special guests like trumpeter Chris Botti and the Italian vocal group Il Volo.

Tickets are $90-$500 and go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or ticketmaster.com. A ticket pre-sale through Streisand's site at barbrastreisand.com begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.
