We need fresh start: Vote out incumbents

Once elected, our legislators, both state and federal, forget their campaign promises and concentrate on what is really important, their re-election. The perks of their office become more important to them than the people’s business. Alas, it has been this way for so long, that our republic has ceased to function in any meaningful way and government has become the engine of our despair and impoverishment. The voting public must vote against incumbents in all contested elections. It matters not what the challenger’s credentials may be; the message sent (at long last) is of greater significance.
