Buffalo Grove celebrating National Night Out
The Buffalo Grove Park District is holding its National Night Out activity 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Willow Stream Park, 651 Old Checker Road. The evening is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts and strengthen neighborhood spirit and community relations. The event will include a business expo, a picnic with free hot dogs, chips and drinks while supplies last, inflatable attractions, games, fire and police displays, and live music. Bring a nonperishable food item to the Buffalo Grove Police Challenge trailer for distribution through local food pantries supported by the Northwest Suburban Interfailth Council.
