Lombard Fire Department Battalion Chief Jeff Holst Retires After 27 Years of Service

LOMBARD, Illinois—Battalion Chief Jeff Holst has retired from the Lombard Fire Department, effective July 31. Holst, a 27-year veteran of the Lombard Fire Department, held the rank of Battalion Chief with the Fire Department for the past two years. During his tenure with the Fire Department, Holst had worked his way up through the ranks and most recently served as the department's Training Coordinator.

During his career in Lombard, Holst served as Technical Rescue Advisor, Hazardous Materials Team Member, Technical Rescue Team Leader and Assistant Emergency Services Coordinator.

“We wish him and his wife Nancy all the best for the future,” stated Lombard Village Manager David Hulseberg.
