Cultural council to hold artists’ reception Aug. 4 in Arlington Heights

The Northwest Cultural Council will hold an artists’ reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Arlington Green Executive Center, 2101 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. The current exhibition features Group 22, a group of artists that chose to continue working together after the old Contemporary Art Center in Arlington Heights closed in 1995. The current show, “Group 22, Expressions in Art,” includes 11 artists whose work expresses their individuality. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
