Kidz Bop concert featuring Des Plaines teen cancelled
An Aug. 1 concert in Skokie featuring the Kidz Bop Kids, of which Des Plaines teen Steffan Argus is a member, and piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick has been canceled.
Promoters said the national tour has been postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances with the tour management team.” The concert was going to be held at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets will be refunded.
Steffan’s mom, Dina Argus, said Kidz Bop is re-establishing its tour and has bigger and better things in store.
