Motorola Solutions Retirees Club awards scholarships

Sixteen college students were awarded scholarships at the June meeting of the Motorola Solutions Retirees Club, at the Schaumburg campus.

There were nine from the club and seven from the foundation. This is the 17th consecutive year scholarships have been awarded.

Scholarships from the club were awarded to: Kaitlyn Bell of La Grange Park; Kaylea Brzozowski of Batavia; Rebecca Fischer of Mundelein; Jarred Koerner of Champaign; Nathan Lane of Niles; Stephanie Sorensen of Bartlett; Jessica Steinhoff of Lake in the Hills; Nathan Tomcik of Albion, Ind.; and Cherise White of Micco, Fla.

Scholarships from the Motorola Foundation were awarded to: Casey Bryniarski of Park Ridge; Jacob Chally of Geneva; Ryan Rizzio of Loves Park; Patrick Walsh of Wheaton; Garrett Greasor of St. Charles; Scott Friedrichs of Hawthorn Woods; and Michael Maeltzer of South Beloit.
