School supplies needed in Hoffman Estates

The Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce is collecting new school supplies for needy children in the community until August 10 as part of their annual “Tools for Success” project. The supplies will be distributed anonymously to students in Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54; Palatine Township Elementary District 15; Elgin Area School District U-46 and Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211. Supplies that are needed include ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters, loose leaf paper, flash cards, folders, spiral notebooks, three ring binders, backpacks, calculators and more. There are more than 25 drop-off locations, including village hall, Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce, Triphahn Center, Schaumburg Township Library, Hoffman Estates Branch Library and St. Alexius Medical Center.
