Three injured in crash

Three people suffered minor injuries in a crash that involved at least one motorcycle and two cars on Route 41 near Lake Bluff, officials said Wednesday. Lake County Sheriff’s Office Chief Wayne Hunter said the 7 a.m. accident was a chain-reaction crash that sent one vehicle into another, then into the motorcycle at the front of the line. Hunter said all the victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. Route 41 was shut down for about an hour at Route 176 following while the accident. It was reopened about 8:15 a.m.
