Government can’t make boy a man
There will never be a solution to gang violence until we solve the father problem. Judging from news reports over many years, most arrested gang members are represented by mothers. Why? Because, since the Great Society, government programs have made fathers superfluous, and moms as role models seldom work for young males.
Government can do some things well, but it can’t make a boy a man.
