NSSEO Foundation takes over of arts and crafts show

Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity announced that the Showcase of Arts and Crafts will continue under the leadership of Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization Foundation. After 40 years of presentation, the Showcase will remain a community event to benefit special children with special needs.

Reta Holmgren, Alpha Gamma Delta alumna, who has served as the chairman of the Spring Showcase of Arts and Crafts event for the past 15 years, announced that Sandy Neumann, Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization, will take over as chairman of the showcase. The NSSEO Foundation board will handle all the arrangements to produce the showcase.

Alumnae of Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity and PATHS, worked as a team to organize and facilitate the many committees needed to make this event a social and philanthropic weekend event.

Samuel A. Kirk School in Palatine has been the chief beneficiary of this well-known event. Over $350,000 has been given to Kirk School for major projects not included in regular funding such as an independent living unit, a playground for wheelchair-bound children and a van.
