Proud Meadows had 4th of July parade

I’d like to thank Mayor Tom Rooney for his efforts in getting us a Fourth of July parade; for a town that was not supposed to have one, we ended up with a pretty good parade.

Thank you, Tom, and all of the people who lined the route. I’d also like to apologize to the people I didn’t get to, but an 84-year-old clown and the hot weather made it a chore just to finish. I was just happy to say I still haven’t missed marching in one yet — thank you.
