Always enjoys the Arlington Hts. band

I had the pleasure of watching our local parade on July 4. My congratulations to all the participants and, as a veteran, I especially want to thank the Arlington Heights Community Concert Band. They did an excellent job and

appropriately played primarily patriotic songs on our country’s Independence Day.

I joined them again at 1:30 p.m. at the west stage in Recreation Park for more great music. For those who are not familiar with the work of the band, I encourage you to visit Harmony Park on July 19 and North School Park on Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. The band is an excellent representative of our village and is certainly worthy of our support. Just bring along a lawn chair or blanket. There is no charge for their concerts.
