Naperville’s Meadows Glen Park to close for improvements

Naperville Park District will begin work the week of July 23 on improvements to Meadow Glens Park, 1303 Muirhead Ave., officials said Monday. The work is expected to continue through late fall.

The entire park and parking lot will be closed during the project. Improvements will include a new loop trail with fitness stations; a restroom building and drinking fountain; a nature playground and family recreation area with bag toss equipment, benches and a picnic shelter; a winter skating area; prairie restoration; and renovations to the ball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts and parking lot.
