Lombard sidewalk project could slow traffic

Lombard residents should expect lane closures along the west side of Westmore-Meyers Road from Norton Street to Roosevelt Road as part of a sidewalk installation project that began Monday.

Village officials said the outside lane of southbound Westmore-Meyers Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day through July 27 as part of the project.

The work is partially funded through a federal grant.
