Learn about Palatine Twp. cemetery restoration efforts

Palatine Township invites the public to learn about restoration work being done this year at Hillside Cemetery in Palatine and Cady Cemetery in Inverness. Helen Wildermuth of Stonehugger Cemetery Restoration will make a presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the township office, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. Stonehugger cleans and repairs historic headstones without power tools, using the same adhesives as the area’s early pioneers.
