Administer Justice to host fun fest in Elgin

Administer Justice will host its annual Community Fun Fest Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Highland Fellowship Church, 2250 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin. Admission is free.

The event will feature a live DJ, puppet show, moonwalk, face painting and free games with prizes for children of all ages. Refreshments will be offered at a nominal cost.

This family-friendly event is designed to offer an affordable day of fun while raising awareness of the various justice issues facing the local communities.

Administer Justice is a nonprofit organization providing free civil legal assistance to thousands of area residents through a comprehensive program of educational outreach, legal assistance, government intervention and conflict resolution services.

Headquartered in Elgin, the organization served nearly 6,200 individuals in 2011 with the help of more than 700 volunteers who donated more than 10,000 hours to assist those in need.
