Storms lead to more than 150 flight cancellations

A strong line of thunderstorms that passed through the Chicago area Friday led to some 150 flights being canceled at O’Hare International Airport, officials said.

Some airlines at O’Hare experienced delays of 60 to 90 minutes for inbound and outbound flights Friday night, according to the city’s Department of Aviation.

Flights at Midway were also delayed up to 90 minutes.
