Mundelein self-defense class

The Mundelein Police Department is hosting a free class for women 18 and over who are interested in learning self-defense tactics. Women who are 17 with parental permission will also be allowed to attend. The class will be held on Tuesdays between 6 and 8 p.m. beginning

July 17 and ending Aug. 7 at the Mundelein Police Department, 221 North Lake St. Students should wear loose fitting workout clothes. The class requires some physical activity.
