Charges dropped against Des Plaines man

Cook County prosecutors on Thursday dismissed drug-related charges against a 35-year-old man Des Plaines patrol officers encountered naked and covered in what appeared to be blood.
At about midnight on April 23, authorities say, Andrew R. Frame told police he was forced to fight with someone and that someone had been murdered inside his house in the 1400 block of E. Campbell Avenue in Des Plaines. Officers forcibly entered the house and found no victim.
Frame was treated for his wounds at an area hospital, police said.
