Shelter Inc. fundraiser ride July 22 in Palatine

Shelter Inc. will host its annual Shelter-A-Child Motorcycle Run on Sunday, July 22. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit child welfare agency, which provides emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children and adolescents in the Northwest suburbs.

Riders will begin at 9:30 a.m. at City Limits Harley Davidson, 2015 N. Rand Road, Palatine, and ride together throughout northern Illinois. They’ll return to City Limits for a 1 p.m. celebration with food, music, prizes and raffles. The cost is $20 per rider, $15 per passenger and $15 for just the celebration event.
