Lombard free brush pickup must not be contained or bundled

LOMBARD, Illinois— Due to inquiries from property owners, the Village of Lombard would like to clarify the free pick up that Lombard Public Works crews will be conducting throughout the next few weeks. Storm-related debris such as limbs and branches must NOT be bundled and must be placed at the curb loose, void of any Kraft paper yard waste bags or other containers.

To qualify for the free pickup by the Village, the storm debris, which is expected to consist primarily of damaged tree pieces, must not be in any container and not bundled. Yard waste that is collected and bundled or placed at the curb in Kraft brown paper bags must be stickered in the usual manner with yard waste stickers and will be picked up by Waste Management.

The free pick up is in accordance with the Village Board's Storm Debris Management Policy.
