Congregation Beth Judea in Long Grove offers youth groups

Congregation Beth Judea (Conservative/Masorti) has a Youth Department that works to bring the Jewish youth of the entire community together through exciting programming, religious learning and Gemilut Hasadim (acts of loving kindness).

Beth Judea offers programs for third-graders through high school students, regardless of their Jewish affiliation.

Beth Judea has three youth groups:

타 Kadinkers is the youngest youth group and is for students in third-fifth grades. It meets once a month on a Sunday after Sunday school. Yearly dues are $18.

타 Kadima is the youth group for students in sixth-eighth grades. Kadima meets once or twice a month. Yearly dues are $40.

타 USY (United Synagogue Youth) is the youth group for all high school students. This teen group meets on a weekly basis for an assortment of fun activities. Yearly dues are $50.

The Beth Judea Youth Department, under the leadership of Marc Sender, wants all Jewish children in the community to be able to take advantage of all the department has to offer. A child’s family need not be a member of Beth Judea for the child to join a Beth Judea youth group.

If you have any questions about any of these programs, call Sender at (847) 634-0777, ext. 114, or email him at YouthDirector@bethjudea.org.

Vice president of Youth is Joan Smith.

Congregation Beth Judea is located on Route 83 and Hilltop Road, in Long Grove.
