Ulterior motives in voter ID debate

I’ve been reading the ongoing debate in Fence Post about the voter ID laws being passed in many states.

I think back to an interview I saw with then Vice President Dick Cheney. When asked what his biggest priority was, he stated “that we stay in power.” What? Not the betterment of the American people? Not the health and security of Americans? No, it was that “we stay in power.”

This makes it crystal clear what the motive is to pass voter ID laws (mostly aimed at minorities). It is to guarantee the theft of yet another election. This is irrefutable.
