Associate judge position opens

Applications are being accepted by the state supreme court for a vacancy that exists in the office of associate judge in the 19th Judicial Circuit in Lake County. Applications must be received by the Administrative Office by Friday, July 27 at 5 p.m. Application forms are available in the Office of the Chief Judge, 19th Judicial Circuit, in the Lake County Courthouse, 18 N. County St., Waukegan, or from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. The form is also available on the supreme court’s website www.state.il.us/court. Any attorney who is interested in the position must be a United States citizen, licensed to practice law in Illinois, and a resident of the 19th Judicial Circuit. Applications may not be submitted electronically.
