East Dundee bakery to host fundraiser for injured service members

On Saturday, June 30, join Piece-A-Cake Bakery and Operation Sweet Tooth to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

There will be sample bakery treats all day. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy games, food, cold drinks, raffles, music and more from 3 to 7 p.m.

Piece-A-Cake Bakery is at 304. N. River St. in East Dundee.

Proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured military service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.

Since 2004, because of your support, Operation Sweet Tooth has sent 11,500 pounds of cookies to U.S. troops.
