Pageant seeks Miss, Junior, Little and Tiny Miss Grayslake applicants

The contestant search is under way for the 2012 Miss, Junior Miss, Little Miss and Tiny Miss Grayslake Queens. Pageant applications are available at the Grayslake Piggly Wiggly, the State Bank of the Lakes and the Grayslake village hall. Application deadline is July 20.

Age requirements for each category are as follows: Miss Grayslake, 16-22; Junior Miss Grayslake, 10-15; Little Miss Grayslake, 6-9; and Tiny Miss Grayslake, 4-5. All contestants must reside in the 60030 ZIP code.

The 2012 Grayslake Pageant will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at the College of Lake County.

Informational meetings for interested participants will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 21, and Friday, June 29, at the State Bank of the Lakes in Grayslake. Pageant applications will also be available at these meetings.
