Man sought in Ky. killing arrested in southwest Ill.

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Authorities say a man sought in connection with a killing in Kentucky has been arrested in southwestern Illinois.

Lexington, Ky., police detectives arrested the 29-year-old man Saturday in East St. Louis in connection with the death of 66-year-old Douglas Saylor.

Authorities say Saylor was found fatally stabbed in his Lexington home on June 2.

It wasn’t immediately clear Monday if the man arrested has been charged in the killing or whether he’s agreed to be returned to Kentucky.

Authorities haven’t said why the man arrested was in the East St. Louis area.
