Great Western Trail Bridge Work Continues

The contractor is currently installing piles for the bridges, according to Paul Kuehnlenz, Civil Engineer for the Village's Public Works Department. The process of driving the piles into the ground creates some vibration, which is being monitored. Residents in the surrounding, area including visitors to Paradise Bay Water Park, may hear the noise of the hammer and possibly feel the vibration as the work is being conducted, Kuehnlenz added.

This portion of the construction is expected to last for the next couple of weeks. Questions regarding the project may be directed to the Public Works Department at (630) 620-5740.
