Families invited to Reading With the Reptiles in Gurnee

Families are invited to Reading With the Reptiles, a free family fun event designed to promote literacy and an appreciation for animals.

Each week, Serpent Safari animal experts will read different reptile-themed stories to children, then answer questions about various reptiles. Kids will also have the opportunity to touch and hold each week’s featured reptiles, ranging from baby alligators to bearded dragon lizards and more. In addition, kids will receive complimentary giveaways and special offers from Rainforest Cafe, Serpent Safari and participating Gurnee Mills retailers (while supplies last).

The program will be held at 11 a.m. every Tuesday through August at Gurnee Mills, 6170 W. Grand Ave., Gurnee, near Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, located near Entry F.
