Hawthorn Woods starts summer Friday events

The Village of Hawthorn Woods is kicking off their Friday summer programs at Community Park Friday, June 14, with their annual farmers market, a Park in the Park classic car show, and their summer concert series.

The farmers market opens Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and will continue each Friday through October 5. Park in the Park, a new vintage car show event organized by local auto enthusiasts, will take place every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. The first summer concert will be performed by the Magic Frank Blues Band beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Everyone is encouraged to bring out their lawn chairs and attend these free events.
