Elgin Brewfest offers a selection of suds

On Friday, June 15, Elgin Brewfest returns to Festival Park, at South Grove Avenue and Prairie Street in downtown Elgin.

This year's Brewfest will feature a large selection of premium beers, local food vendors and live music from your favorite local bands.

On Friday, June 15, Jamie Campbell and The Redneck Romeos will perform 5 to 6:30 p.m. They will be followed from 7 to 8:30 p.m. by the Smokin' Gunz. Infinity will perform from 9 to 11 p.m.

On Saturday, June 16, Serendipity will open the show from 5 to 6:30 p.m. He Said, She Said will follow from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The band 7th Heaven will wrap up the festival from 9 to 11 p.m.

Admission is $5. Wristbands with valid photo ID must be obtained to purchase alcohol.
