Cancer survivors, caregivers, family and friends are invited to celebrate survivorship together at Northwest Community Healthcare’s 11th annual Cancer Survivor Celebration, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 24 at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road (at Wilke Road). “Hats off to Survivors” will have a prize for the best hat, plus a DJ, dancing, games, free raffle prizes and visits from several animal-assisted therapy teams. NCH will supply the main dishes and drinks; attendees are asked to bring an appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Free, but registration required. Call (847) 618-6660 by June 19.
