One injured in Hoffman Estates stabbing

One person was injured Saturday evening after being stabbed several times in Hoffman Estates, police said.

Hoffman Estates police Sgt. Darin Felgenhauer said officers were called to the 700 block of Salem Road evening for a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken from the scene to an area hospital, suffering from nonlife threatening injuries, Felgenhauer said.

He said the stabbing remains under investigation and that no offenders are in custody.
