Money more than ideas what’s important now

The Roberts Supreme Court decision in Citizens United allowed billionaire Republicans to save Scott Walker in Wisconsin. The Koch Brothers, Karl Rove and Sheldon Aldeson, among others, helped fund Walker’s successful bid to overcome the recall and now can pursue his anti-union agenda as governor.

The Supreme Court gave us George Bush, Iraq and the Great Recession by denying the Florida recount in 2000 and now they permit billionaires and Wall Street tycoons to outspend the Democrats and their union supporters 8-1 in Wisconsin.

Isn’t it great that the conservative Supreme Court has put Democracy up for sale to the highest bidder? I know I feel so much better about our country now that the billionaires dominate politics through their Super PACs. Representative government in America is now about who has the most money instead of the best ideas.
