Medical center gives first Physician of the Year award

Northbrook resident Nancy Awadallah, M.D., received the Physician of the Year CARES Award from Holy Family Medical Center, where she has been on staff for six years.

The Physician of the Year CARES Award is presented to a physician who has been nominated by their peers and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve the quality of life in the community by promoting the values of Resurrection Healthcare: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service.

Dr. Awadallah currently holds several leadership roles at Holy Family Medical Center as medical director of the Wound Healing Center, member of Medical Executive Committee, utilization review, physician adviser, vice chair, Department of Medicine, and member of Credentials Committee.
