Antioch water restrictions
Lake Catherine was scheduled to receive a herbicide treatment on Wednesday to combat two invasive aquatic plants: curly leaf pond weed and Eurasian water milfoil, according to a news release. Integrated Lakes Management of Waukegan was scheduled to treat the area with Reward, a liquid herbicide. Residents should be aware of restrictions about Lake Catherine water use following the treatment: three days of no water drinking, five days of no food crop irrigation, one day of no livestock or domestic animal consumption, three days of no irrigation to turf and landscape ornamentals.
