NIU football coach to throw out first pitch at July 26 Cougars game
Northern Illinois head football coach Dave Doeren and several of his assistants will be at the Kane County Cougars game July 26 as part of an NIU fundraiser at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
Doeren will throw out the first pitch prior to the 6:30 game and will watch the game from the Hyundai Deck suite above the first base line. For $75, fans can purchase a ticket to sit with the coaches as they watch the game and discuss Huskies football.
The game against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will also be ’90s night. There will be a pregame concert by 9D Rox and a post-game fireworks show with music from the decade.
