Sunday picks: Start off fest season at Taste of Wheaton

Taste of Wheaton

Sample a variety of local fare at the annual Taste of Wheaton, on Liberty Street, from Wheaton Avenue to Cross Street in downtown Wheaton. Butterfly garden

The Chicago Botanic Garden promises plenty of Butterflies & Blooms in a new outdoor garden specially designed to attract tropical butterfly species from around the world. Butterflies & Blooms launches Saturday at 1000 Lake-Cook Road, Glencoe. Garden admission: $8; $6 kids ages 3-12, in addition to $20 parking per car. Fly Fishing 101

All ages are invited to learn about the basics of fly fishing at the Fly Fishing 101 class at Orvis at Yorktown Center, 306 Yorktown Center, The Shops on Butterfield, Lombard. Play ball!
