Huntley resale shop celebrates 2nd anniversary

Sweet Repeats Thrift Shoppe in Huntley will celebrate its second anniversary Saturday, June 2.

The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for shoppers to enjoy storewide savings on all items, including clothing, furniture, toys, books, house wares and more. A raffle will be held at 4 p.m. and free hot dogs will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to thank loyal customers for supporting Sweet Repeats.

A bargain hunter’s dream, Sweet Repeats features more than 7,000 square feet of gently used and new treasures, including more than 22 racks of clothing, a large selection of jewelry, toys, games, electronics, furniture, lamps, artwork and more.

The thrift shop is owned and operated by Pioneer Center for Human Services; proceeds benefit its many programs and divisions, including McHenry County PADS, Youth Service Bureau, Children’s Center for Autism, VOICE Sexual Assault Services, Traumatic Brain Injury, Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities.
