Misericordia thanks all who donated
Just a few weeks ago we were once again humbled and amazed by the generosity of the residents of Rolling Meadows and Arlington Heights and others passing through our towns. The source of our happiness was the generous support given to the volunteers of Misericordia Home’s 27th annual Candy Days collection!
Volunteers donned their red-and-white “Jelly Belly” aprons and fanned out to intersections and storefronts, collecting donations for Misericordia, a residential home for children and adults with disabilities.
The residents, staff and collection volunteers would like to express their deep appreciation to all who participated! All of the proceeds will fund programs designed to help the 600 residents of Misericordia reach their full potential and lead lives of dignity.
To our volunteers, whether you were new this year or long-time supporters, we are forever grateful! You persevered despite the chilly weather, knowing how important your mission was to the future of our children and adults. Thank you to the Cub Scouts, high-school students, family members, and friends for your caring efforts.
Thank you again for your generosity! See you next year!
