No empathy for veterans

I hope our commander and chief didn’t injure his arm by patting himself on the back so many times. His taking credit for killing Osama bin Laden is a joke.

If you recall, he and Eric Holder threatened to prosecute the CIA agents who did the waterboarding. They along with other intel people found where bin Laden was hiding.

It was Admiral William McRaven and his team who planned the raid. All President Obama did was give his OK. If the raid went sour, McRaven would have taken the hit, not Obama.

The intel people and the military did a great job.

If you recall Mr. Holder, before he became attorney general, and his firm were defending terrorists. That is a fact. And if you recall not long after Mr. Obama was sworn in, he wanted the military to buy its own insurance to pay for war injuries. When military officials refused, he called them selfish and whiners. When the veterans groups spoke up, he dropped the idea.

He doesn’t have a clue as to what the men and women go through, and I do not believe he cares. He is the commander and chief, and they are sworn to respect him. God bless the men and women of the military. They put their lives on the line for us.
