Girl Scouts, Chicago Sky partner to celebrate anniversaries

The Chicago Sky and the Girl Scouts of of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana will come together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts and the 40th anniversary of Title IX. The celebration marks the fourth-straight year for the partnership between the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana and the Sky.

Girl Scouts from ages 5 to 17 will have an opportunity to assist with the Sky's June 8 game against Tulsa Shock, deploying in various roles such as honorary co-captains, half-time performers, Twitter correspondents, ball girls and film crew assistants.

Girl Scout alumnae and all current or former female athletes are invited to participate in a half-time celebration honoring the two anniversaries.
