‘Stone Soup’ witty, insightful

I resent Phillip Nagle calling “Stone Soup” a mindless insult (Fence Post, May 10). As a retired female teacher I find it witty in a subtle way and very insightful into life with children and family. I often find myself smiling as I read it. Phillip needs to lighten up!
