Waukegan man charged with child pornography
A Waukegan man faces child pornography charges after authorities raided his house and seized computers, police said.
Jose Jesus Prado, 27, of the 2400 block of North Jackson Boulevard, was charged with four counts of possession of aggravated child pornography, Waukegan Police Cmdr. Gabe Guzman said in a news release.
Members of the Waukegan and Round Lake Beach police departments and Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office raided Prado’s home earlier this week and seized three computers, Guzman said.
A search of the computers revealed images of child pornography, Guzman said in the release.
Prado was arrested, charged, and is held at the Lake County jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
More charges could be filed after detectives review all evidence, Guzman added.
