Motorcyclists need to be seen

With the riding season now under way, motorcycles are rapidly returning to streets and highways throughout the state. Moreover, as gas prices climb, motorcycles are increasingly being used for basic transportation as well as recreation.

May is national Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and the Windy City Women Riders group is reminding drivers to share the road and watch for motorcycles, especially at intersections and while making turns and lane changes. Let’s not meet by accident.
