Buffalo Grove firm backs walk

Buffalo Grove-based manufacturer Assembled Products was the lead sponsor of The Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides fundraiser walk last Saturday in Orland Park. Assembled Products, in business for 91 years and with 150 employees locally, is a subsidiary of Jason Inc. A team from Assembled Products won a companywide wellness challenge last fall entitling Assembled Products to pick a cause for Jason to back. Assembled Products picked cystic fibrosis because one of its employees and the employees’ grandson have the disease. The family has a website at eatpraydean.com and participates regularly in cystic fibrosis activities.
