So, why didn’t you go into teaching?

So, why didn’t you go into teaching?

So Robert Melbye has no sympathy for teachers and their pensions. He states the pensions were not under funded. He forgot to mention the state has illegally borrowed (I call it stealing) from teacher pension funds for years.

Mr. Melbye rambles on about summer vacations, generous Christmas break etc. Well, he also forgot to mention teachers do not get paid during the generous summer break. His big complaint was how the drop in property values and taxes impact the “private sector.”

I guess teachers live in that magical land where their property values continue to rise and taxes are something other people pay. So to review. Teaching is easy, so much time off and so over paid. Money for nothing. So, Mr. Melbye, I’m just curious: If it is so easy and lucrative, why didn’t you go into teaching?
