Palatine Historical Society hosts cemetery walk May 20

The Palatine Historical Society will host a cemetery walk from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Hillside Cemetery, Smith and Robertson streets, Palatine.

Local actors will dress up as past residents of Palatine and portray their stories. This year's focus will be on those who served in the Civil War. A special presentation will be held at 2:30 p.m.

The event, which will take place rain or shine, costs $4 for Palatine Historical Society members, $5 for others. Proceeds will be used for the maintenance of Palatine Township cemeteries.
